About

My name is Barry Sanders.  I am a Masters level clinical social worker whose practice is focused on persons with serious and persistent mental illness.  I see the impact shame and stigma has on my clients and throughout our communities.  I have been using a practice called Compassion Focused Therapy to address these issues as well as anxiety, depression and voice hearing.

I have a strong passion for social justice and try to include compassion based strategies in my community work as well.
